Sir Keir Starmer will push allies to deliver Ukraine with further advanced missile systems to target Moscow's positions during a meeting in Britain on this Friday.

Sir Keir will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside what's known as "group of committed partners", including more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have pledged to grant Kyiv defense assurances once hostilities pause is brokered.

Zelensky has been urging for weeks for additional long-range weapons from allied countries, an action that Moscow has warned would escalate the conflict.

President Zelensky is coming from Brussels, where he held talks with European Union officials on the previous day pursuing funding aid.

"The only person engaged in the ongoing war who refuses to end the war is President Putin," Sir Keir remarked.

Sir Keir furthermore reveal that a hundred additional air defence missiles will be supplied to Kyiv ahead of schedule, as specified in a £1.6bn deal reached between the United Kingdom and Ukraine in last spring.

Sir Keir will press participants to increase the delivery of long-range weapons following a successful strike on a manufacturing site in the Bryansk region, the Russian Federation, using Britain-delivered advanced weaponry.

"And his depraved attacks on small children in a preschool this week show that perfectly obvious," he stated further.

Two children were among at least seven fatally wounded in a wave of enemy assaults on Ukraine, which struck a preschool facility in the major urban center Kharkiv.

Economic Talks

Britain's leader will confer with supporting countries on how to remove Moscow's energy exports out of worldwide commerce.

Delegates will also consider using seized Moscow funds to supply Kyiv with economic assistance, while the proposal experienced insufficient agreement and legal hurdles at the European meeting on Thursday.

European Union declined to approving an initiative to use as much as €140 billion in blocked Moscow funds to financially prop up the Ukrainian economy.
